What I built

• Built recipe search and regional filtering powered by a live recipe API using React Router.
• Added a Surprise Me feature for random recipe discovery and a favourites system with persistent local storage.
• Implemented dark mode and a fully responsive layout with smooth loading and meaningful empty-state handling.
• Ensured zero layout shift across all screen sizes and fast perceived performance throughout.
